Post-Anesthesia Care Unit RN | Irrigon, Oregon

A Registered Nurse with expertise in perioperative nursing is needed to deliver exceptional care throughout the surgical experience, from preoperative preparation through postoperative recovery. This contract opportunity is based in Irrigon, OR, and offers a dynamic role in a well-regarded healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Advocate for patients’ needs, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel to maintain high standards of nursing practice.
• Collaborate closely with the Unit Nurse Manager, House Supervisor, or RN Team Leader.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support patient care needs.
• Flexibly assist in other departments when qualified, before core staff are floated.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure with experience in perioperative or PACU nursing.
• Strong knowledge of surgical nursing processes and patient care standards.
• Ability to lead and supervise nursing team members effectively.
• Flexibility to work varied case assignments and participate in on-call rotation.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.

Schedule / Hours:

• 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
