Hospital PACU Nurse | Irrigon, Oregon

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with expertise in perioperative care, focusing on pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia Phase I and II care. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing support throughout the patient’s surgical experience, including monitoring local-only patients in the operating room and administering sedation for certain procedures. Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care before and after anesthesia for surgical patients
• Monitor patients locally in the OR during procedures
• Provide sedation for select procedures as required
• Act as patient advocate ensuring comfort, safety, and quality care
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel to maintain smooth perioperative operations
• Participate in regular on-call rotation for the Post-Anesthesia Unit
• Comply with hospital policies, mission, and vision

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Previous experience in Perioperative or PACU nursing preferred
• Competency in anesthesia care, patient monitoring, and sedation techniques
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced surgical environments
