A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with expertise in perioperative care, focusing on pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia Phase I and II care. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing support throughout the patient’s surgical experience, including monitoring local-only patients in the operating room and administering sedation for certain procedures. The position emphasizes patient advocacy and adherence to high standards of care, utilizing the nursing process within established protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care before and after anesthesia for surgical patients
- Monitor patients locally in the OR during procedures
- Provide sedation for select procedures as required
- Act as patient advocate ensuring comfort, safety, and quality care
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel to maintain smooth perioperative operations
- Participate in regular on-call rotation for the Post-Anesthesia Unit
- Comply with hospital policies, mission, and vision
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Previous experience in Perioperative or PACU nursing preferred
- Competency in anesthesia care, patient monitoring, and sedation techniques
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced surgical environments
