A critical role is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with PACU expertise to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced post-anesthesia care unit. This contract position requires a professional with proven experience in an academic medical center setting, offering a dynamic environment to apply your specialized nursing skills.
Location: Lowell, MA

Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- 50% Day/Night rotation
- Up to 2 weekend shifts per month
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgery
- Monitor patients' vital signs and response to anesthesia closely
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during recovery
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- At least 1 year of Travel PACU experience
- Minimum 1 year working in an Academic Medical Center environment
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in post-anesthesia care
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and nights
