A Registered Nurse with expertise in Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, or Long-Term Acute Care is needed for a travel assignment in Lenoir City, Tennessee. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a Transitional Care Unit, supporting patients through recovery and specialized care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients within the Transitional Care Unit
- Manage a patient assignment ratio typically between 1:8 and 1:10, with occasional float responsibilities
- Perform routine assessments, document patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain safety standards
- Complete required EKG testing prior to assignment start
- Fulfill weekend shift requirements (every other weekend or two per month)
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Valid RN licensure with experience in Rehabilitation Nursing or Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC)
- Current BLS-AHA certification and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Ability to pass EKG testing before start date
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced Transitional Care setting with a varied patient population
Schedule
- Shift hours generally 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM, no better option (NBO) schedule
- Weekend shifts required on a rotating basis
