A skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Rehab and Long-Term Care is needed for a contract opportunity in Rockford, IL. This role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care in a skilled nursing environment, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and recovery. Candidates must hold a current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care by performing treatments and procedures per established protocols.
  • Monitor patients for reactions to medications or treatments and report promptly.
  • Administer medications within scope of practice, policy, and licensure guidelines.
  • Respond safely and timely to patient requests, communicating with RNs as necessary.
  • Assist with patient care planning and implementation under RN supervision.
  • Follow hospital and nursing policies, recognizing and managing emergencies appropriately.
  • Educate patients in self-care consistent with teaching plans and RN directions.
  • Document patient care clearly and accurately.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Illinois RN license is required.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Experience in Rehab or Long-Term Care nursing preferred.
  • Strong communication and observational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
