Stepdown RN - Anchorage, AK

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Stepdown experience to provide high-quality care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position offers a chance to work in Anchorage, Alaska, delivering compassionate nursing care to patients requiring specialized monitoring and treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient status in the stepdown unit, ensuring timely interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient information.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and provide critical care support.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license, active and in-hand at the time of application.
• Experience in stepdown or progressive care nursing preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities.
