A critical care nursing opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with stepdown or CCU expertise. This contract position offers the chance to care for complex cardiac patients in a fast-paced environment that values highly skilled clinical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a cardiac stepdown or critical care unit.
  • Monitor advanced cardiac support equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices.
  • Administer medication drips and assist with specialized procedures such as cardioversion and heart catheterizations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using the Meditech EMR system.
  • Adhere to unit policies to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification; NIH certification preferred.
  • Experience in a CCU or stepdown unit specializing in cardiac care.
  • Skillful in managing advanced cardiac life support equipment and procedures.
  • Organized, efficient, and equipped with a positive attitude to engage patients and team members.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7 PM to 7 AM shifts.
