A critical care nursing opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with stepdown or CCU expertise. This contract position offers the chance to care for complex cardiac patients in a fast-paced environment that values highly skilled clinical professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a cardiac stepdown or critical care unit.
- Monitor advanced cardiac support equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia devices.
- Administer medication drips and assist with specialized procedures such as cardioversion and heart catheterizations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using the Meditech EMR system.
- Adhere to unit policies to ensure patient safety and quality care.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification; NIH certification preferred.
- Experience in a CCU or stepdown unit specializing in cardiac care.
- Skillful in managing advanced cardiac life support equipment and procedures.
- Organized, efficient, and equipped with a positive attitude to engage patients and team members.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7 PM to 7 AM shifts.
