Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program
  • Active, valid State of Montana RN license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • PALS, ENPC, or TNCC certifications preferred
  • Hands-on experience in a fast-paced medical/surgical unit and recent critical care nursing
  • Proficient in operating advanced medical equipment: central lines (including A-lines), multiple IVs, chest tubes, and ventilatory support
  • Strong assessment skills with the ability to implement established policies and procedures independently
  • Track record of clinical leadership, including precepting or mentoring fellow staff

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care from admission to discharge on an inpatient unit
  • Oversee complex monitoring and hands-on management for patients with advanced needs
  • Operate and troubleshoot equipment such as invasive lines, multiple IV pumps, and ventilatory support
  • Provide direction and support to nursing and support staff across disciplines (RN, LPN, CNA, Housekeeping, Dietary)
  • Collaborate closely with providers, supervisors, and clinical leaders to ensure optimal patient care
  • Contribute to discharge planning for seamless transitions of care
