Support patient care on a specialized stepdown unit in Denver, CO, with a contract opportunity designed for skilled Registered Nurses experienced in Med/Tele/PCU settings. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a 38-bed Med/Tele/PCU unit
- Manage cardiac drips and post-operative care, including patients post-VATS and cardiac catheterization
- Use advanced monitoring tools such as dynamap and cardiac monitors effectively
- Collaborate with a diverse team including charge nurses, RNs, and medical support technicians
- Adhere to unit guidelines and protocols to maintain high-quality patient care and safety standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current RN license with Med/Tele/PCU stepdown experience preferred
- ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIH certification is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle cardiac procedures and critical care environments
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, adaptable attitude
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
