Support patient care on a specialized stepdown unit in Denver, CO, with a contract opportunity designed for skilled Registered Nurses experienced in Med/Tele/PCU settings. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment focused on cardiac and post-surgical care, utilizing modern equipment and collaborative teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in a 38-bed Med/Tele/PCU unit
  • Manage cardiac drips and post-operative care, including patients post-VATS and cardiac catheterization
  • Use advanced monitoring tools such as dynamap and cardiac monitors effectively
  • Collaborate with a diverse team including charge nurses, RNs, and medical support technicians
  • Adhere to unit guidelines and protocols to maintain high-quality patient care and safety standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current RN license with Med/Tele/PCU stepdown experience preferred
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIH certification is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to handle cardiac procedures and critical care environments
  • Strong teamwork skills and a positive, adaptable attitude

Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
