Stepdown Registered Nurse | El Cajon, California

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized, holistic nursing care that supports patient and family goals.
• Conduct thorough assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic and safe care.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams and access additional resources for managing complex or high-risk cases.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active RN license with at least 3 years of nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience specifically in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — experience in ICU, Medical-Surgical (MS), or Telemetry units does not meet this requirement.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex patient needs.
• Skilled in patient advocacy and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Schedule/Hours:

• Multiple start dates available between October and December.
• Commitment varies from 14 to 24 weeks depending on the assignment.
• System Float Pool assignments provide exposure across different units, enhancing clinical experience.
