Stepdown RN - Girdwood, AK

A healthcare opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with stepdown unit experience in Girdwood, AK. This contract position offers a chance to provide specialized nursing care in a progressive care setting, supporting patients transitioning from intensive care to general wards.

Location:

Schedule:

• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid RN license required and must be in hand at time of application
• Previous experience in stepdown or progressive care units
• Ability to provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring
• Strong assessment and clinical skills

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients transitioning from the intensive care unit
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and care continuity
• Accurately document patient conditions and interventions
