Travel PCU/Stepdown Nurse (RN) | Greenville, North Carolina

A skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Stepdown care is needed for an exciting travel opportunity in Greenville, NC. This role offers the chance to provide high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care, utilizing your expertise in monitoring, assessment, and patient support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown unit, ensuring close monitoring of vitals and condition changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and emergencies in accordance with hospital protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with Stepdown experience required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills specific to the Stepdown patient population
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments as a travel nurse
