Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a stepdown or progressive care unit
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certification
  • Knowledge of NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex patient needs during night shifts

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to PCU patients requiring close monitoring and timely interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare policies and standards specific to progressive care nursing

This is a contract position offering 12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week, providing flexibility and stability.
