Stepdown Nurse (RN) - Holdrege, NE

A healthcare organization in Holdrege, NE is seeking experienced registered nurses to provide exceptional care on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) during night shifts. Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to PCU patients, closely monitoring their condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and assist with patient recovery and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Utilize BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS protocols to respond to patient needs and emergencies.
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate effectively with physicians and staff.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a step-down or progressive care unit.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.

Schedule / Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts.
• 36 hours guaranteed weekly.
