• Strong documentation skills with attention to accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance
• Ability to educate patients and families, including discharge planning and teaching tailored to age-appropriate needs
• Experience collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams and delegating care responsibilities appropriately

Responsibilities:

• Develop and revise comprehensive plans of care reflecting physical, psychosocial, and educational patient needs
• Continually reassess patient condition and coordinate nursing care prioritization and delegation
• Document patient responses to interventions, medications, and education accurately and in accordance with policy
• Assess teaching needs and deliver age-appropriate education materials to patients and families
• Initiate and implement discharge planning from admission through hospital stay, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Accurately transcribe and clarify physician orders, and manage telemetry monitoring including arrhythmic parameter adjustments and cardiac event protocols
