Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Experience working in a Step-Down Unit
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and patient-care skills

Location: Position is based in Worcester, MA, a vibrant city known for its rich history and diverse cultural scene. Worcester offers an urban environment with numerous dining, entertainment, and outdoor recreation options, making it a great place to live and work.

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to step-down patients requiring close observation and intervention
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members on care plans
  • Educate patients and families about health status and care requirements
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities

Schedule / Hours:

  • 36 hours per week
  • Night shifts: 7:15 PM to 7:15 AM
  • Three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Every other weekend and rotating holidays
