A nursing opportunity is available for an RN with expertise in telemetry, providing care on an acute elderly care unit. This contract position is based in Canandaigua, NY, offering a 13-week commitment with the possibility for flexible scheduling in alignment with facility needs. Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the site and be prepared to work night shifts.

Shift/Hours:
- Nights: 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Availability for 36 to 48 hours weekly
- One weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend
- At least one holiday shift within the contract duration
Qualifications:
- Active New York RN license
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIH) certification
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in medical-surgical/telemetry units
- For candidates outside the U.S., at least 2 years of U.S. healthcare experience required
- Preferred: 2 years recent experience in medical-surgical/telemetry
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered nursing care within a 36-bed Acute Care of Elderly (ACE) and Alternate Level of Care (ALC) unit
- Timely and accurate charting using EPIC electronic medical records
- Adapt to changing schedules and staffing needs as required
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
