A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to support patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment located in East Saint Louis, IL. This contract role is perfect for nurses skilled in monitoring cardiac patients and adept at using telemetry equipment to provide precise and timely care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythm and vital signs using telemetry equipment
• Assess and document patients’ condition, reporting any significant changes promptly
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions and care protocols
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current state RN license
• Experience in telemetry nursing or cardiac care preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to operate telemetry monitoring equipment effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
