Telemetry RN in El Dorado, KS

Deliver advanced patient care as an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry, providing critical support on a 37-bed unit focused on cardiac and telemetry patients. This contract opportunity in the El Dorado, KS area offers the chance to work the night shift at a prominent medical center renowned for its dedicated Telemetry team.

Key responsibilities include monitoring patients recovering from heart catheterization and other cardiac-related treatments, managing central lines, medication drips, and assisting with bubble studies. You will collaborate with a team of 12 nursing staff per shift and utilize EMR systems such as Meditech to document patient care efficiently.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active RN license with Telemetry nursing skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Experience with PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tube management
• Ability to handle patient ratios around 1:6, and 1:4 for heart cath patients
• Strong critical thinking skills and independence in delivering care
• Positive, engaged attitude with effective communication abilities

• Night Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
