Telemetry Nurse (RN) in Fairport, NY

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with acute medical-surgical and telemetry experience to provide exceptional patient care during night shifts. This contract position offers a chance to apply your clinical skills in a dynamic hospital setting with a supportive team.

Schedule/Hours:

• Nights, 12-hour shifts (7 PM to 7 AM)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• One weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend
• Must work at least one holiday during the contract period

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care on a 37-bed Medical/Telemetry unit
• Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely patient charting
• Flexibly respond to the facility’s needs including floating to other units as required
• Perform charge nurse duties when assigned; training provided
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year recent acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience
• Preferred 2 years recent acute med-surg/tele experience
• Active New York State RN license
• Current NIH AHA BLS certification
• For non-U.S. nurses, at least 2 years of U.S. work experience
• Flexibility with scheduling and unit assignments essential
