Travel Telemetry RN - High Point, NC

This travel nursing opportunity focuses on providing expert care to telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac telemetry skills and a patient-centered approach to care.

Location: Based in High Point, NC, this role involves working within a 50-mile radius of the assigned hospital, providing the chance to explore the scenic Piedmont Triad region known for its friendly communities and vibrant arts scene.

Schedule:

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
• Floating to other units as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized cardiac telemetry nursing care, focusing on patients with congestive heart failure, acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, and respiratory issues such as COPD and pneumonia
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols including successful completion of a pass/fail EKG exam

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ telemetry nursing experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
• Current ACLS and BLS certification required
• Demonstrated expertise in cardiac telemetry and care for cardiac patients
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments and a strict zero-tolerance attendance policy
