An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with telemetry experience to provide exceptional inpatient care in a dynamic hospital setting in Knoxville, Tennessee. This travel assignment offers the chance to work in a well-regarded healthcare environment supporting diverse patient needs on a busy telemetry floor.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with telemetry nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association required
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start date (mandatory for all Med-Surg nurses)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:8
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care in telemetry settings
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to patient needs promptly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility policies
- Adhere to scheduling requirements, including every other weekend or two weekends per month
This travel nursing role requires flexibility in scheduling, including holiday work with limited time-off during critical periods. Orientation sessions are offered bi-weekly to ensure a smooth integration into the team.
