Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes promptly
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Conduct EKG assessments and ensure accurate documentation of patient statuses
- Comply with all clinical and safety protocols, including mandatory certifications and testing requirements
- Participate in a float system, maintaining a ratio of 1:8, with possible team nursing model usage for higher patient numbers
- Work every other weekend or two weekends per month as scheduled
Qualifications and Certifications
- Current RN license with Telemetry nursing expertise
- Successful completion of EKG testing prior to assignment start
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified and NIHSS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work within the specified float and weekend schedule requirements
Travel and Scheduling
- Travel nurse position with Auto Offer and bi-weekly orientations available
- No holiday time off allowed for specific holiday periods; requests to be discussed post-assignment start
- Local candidates within a 75-mile radius of the facility are eligible for a local bill rate
