An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with telemetry expertise to provide high-quality patient care in a dedicated medical unit. This contract position offers the chance to work night shifts within a well-established healthcare environment known for safety and compassionate care. The role requires a minimum of one year of inpatient telemetry nursing experience and strong drug titration skills.

Situated in the Springfield region near Nixa, MO, this facility combines advanced healthcare services with a community-oriented atmosphere. Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
- Coordinate care with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
- Utilize telemetry equipment and manage IV pumps and feeding tubes
- Adhere to established nursing guidelines, state practice acts, and facility standards
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional accountability throughout care delivery
- Float on a rotational basis within the unit as required
- Provide care for patients with medical and medical-telemetry diagnoses, including post-trauma and surgical cases
Qualifications:
- Current RN license eligible or issued in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of telemetry inpatient nursing experience
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification required prior to start (may submit without initially)
- Proficient in drug titration and telemetry monitoring
- Ability to work night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM), including weekends as assigned
Schedule:
- Night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM
- Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours weekly (to be specified upon application)
Additional Details:
Candidates must adhere to the facility’s dress code requiring black scrubs and comply with vaccination policies. This 13-week contract position does not require call coverage but involves some weekend hours as needed.
