Telemetry Registered Nurse - Reno, Nevada

A registered nurse with telemetry and med-surg experience is needed to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. This role is ideal for professionals who are adaptable, capable of floating between units, and available to work weekends. The position offers a consistent dayshift schedule with 12-hour shifts, starting mid-January and extending for 26 weeks.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RN license with telemetry and med-surgical nursing expertise
• Ability to float between telemetry and med-surg units as needed
• Availability for weekend shifts
• Full compliance with licensing and certification requirements, including:
  • License verification
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable
  • Up-to-date MMR and Varicella vaccination records or documented vaccination status
  • Negative TB test results
• Willingness to complete drug and background screening promptly after starting
• Commitment to work a full schedule through the end of January and into early February is highly preferred

Schedule:

• Dayshift
• 12-hour shifts
• Weekend availability required

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to telemetry and med-surg patients
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and handle clinical tasks within scope of practice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and high-quality care
• Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies
