Deliver specialized nursing care on a Telemetry Unit in Santa Ana, CA, supporting patients through continuous cardiac monitoring and related clinical needs. This contract role requires a Registered Nurse dedicated to safe, patient-centered care using comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation techniques. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care within the RN scope of practice on a Telemetry Unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to clinical changes
- Collaborate with physicians regarding patient status and test results
- Guide patient and family education alongside other nursing staff
- Maintain adherence to standards of care and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Current and valid California State RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience with ventilator management preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) required
