A dynamic opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Telemetry and Med/Surg expertise, offering a contract role that emphasizes clinical skill and adaptability. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional patient care on a 12-hour day shift schedule, with availability to float between Telemetry and Med/Surg units as needed, including weekend coverage. The role begins mid-January and is ideally suited for candidates who can maintain a full schedule through early February.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current RN licensure.
- Experience in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing.
- Flexibility to float between units.
- Availability for weekends.
- Completion or ability to obtain necessary compliance requirements including license verification, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications as applicable, vaccination records or attestation, and negative TB results.
- Successful drug screening and background checks.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in telemetry and medical-surgical settings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient treatment and recovery.
- Monitor and assess patient status, responding promptly to changes.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance policies.
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation.
