Telemetry RN - Springfield, IL

A nursing opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses skilled in Telemetry and Stepdown care. This role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting critical and acute care patients with complex cardiac and medical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess telemetry and stepdown patients’ conditions, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Provide patient and family education on disease management and recovery processes
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changes in condition
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory and hospital standards

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid RN licensure with experience in Telemetry and Stepdown nursing settings
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic healthcare environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
