A Registered Nurse with experience in Telemetry is needed for a night shift role in Tyler, TX. This position involves providing specialized cardiac care to patients ranging from young adults to geriatric individuals. Candidates will work on a medical-surgical cardiac unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6:1, supporting those recovering from cardiac interventions such as surgery, stent placement, and pacemaker implantation.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to telemetry patients
- Monitor and assess cardiac patient conditions meticulously
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
- Float to units of equal or lesser acuity as necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records for documentation and communication
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years nursing experience
- Proven Telemetry nursing skills required
- BLS certification required; NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
- Previous travel experience in nursing is required
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records is mandatory
- Comfortable working night shifts 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

- Patient ratio of 1:6 on a 36-bed unit with private rooms
- Focus on cardiac care patients, including post-operative and non-procedural cases
- Contract position with a focus on night hours
- Floating required for units of equal or lesser acuity
- Candidates residing in specified nearby counties are not eligible
