Provide skilled nursing care in a telemetry unit within a dynamic hospital environment located in Warwick, RI. This 13-week contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced RN with telemetry expertise ready to contribute to patient care on night shifts.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 36/48 hour night shifts
  • 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive telemetry nursing care under a union hospital's established guidelines
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions frequently, with staffing evaluated every 4 hours
  • Float as needed up to three times per shift, with travelers floating first per union contract
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain patient safety and adherence to hospital protocols throughout the shift

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current RN license in Rhode Island
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • Proven experience in telemetry nursing
  • Flexibility to work in a unionized environment following union policies and procedures
