Telemetry RN - Webster, NY

A nursing role is available for experienced registered nurses with acute med surg/telemetry expertise in Webster, NY. This contract position offers a chance to contribute during nights in a 37-bed unit known for its committed care.

Location: Webster, NY

Position Details:

• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
• Hours: Options for 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend: One weekend shift per week or two every other weekend
• Holiday: Minimum one holiday shift per contract
• Flexibility required for scheduling and floating to other units
• Charge nurse responsibilities with training available

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New York State RN license
• NIH AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum one year recent acute med surg/telemetry nursing experience
• For non-US candidates, at least two years’ work experience in the US is required
• Preferred two years recent acute med surg/telemetry experience
• Must reside over 50 miles from the facility

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in a 37-bed medical/telemetry unit
• Utilize EPIC electronic charting system
• Support unit operations by being flexible to facility needs and capable of charge nurse duties
• Willingly float across other units as assigned
