Position Details:
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
- Hours: Options for 36 or 48 hours per week
- Weekend: One weekend shift per week or two every other weekend
- Holiday: Minimum one holiday shift per contract
- Flexibility required for scheduling and floating to other units
- Charge nurse responsibilities with training available
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active New York State RN license
- NIH AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum one year recent acute med surg/telemetry nursing experience
- For non-US candidates, at least two years’ work experience in the US is required
- Preferred two years recent acute med surg/telemetry experience
- Must reside over 50 miles from the facility
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in a 37-bed medical/telemetry unit
- Utilize EPIC electronic charting system
- Support unit operations by being flexible to facility needs and capable of charge nurse duties
- Willingly float across other units as assigned
