Telemetry RN in Webster, NY

An opportunity is available for a registered nurse with telemetry experience to provide quality care in a specialized medical setting. This role focuses on delivering exceptional nursing care to patients within a 37-bed med/tele complex care unit. The schedule includes 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with options for 36 or 48 hours weekly. Candidates should be prepared to cover at least one holiday per contract and work weekend shifts regularly.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in acute medical-surgical and telemetry nursing
• Preferred 2 years of recent acute med-surg/telemetry experience
• For non-U.S. candidates, at least 2 years of U.S. nursing experience is required
• Active New York RN license
• NIH and AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Flexibility to adapt to scheduling needs and float to other units as required
• Willingness to work in a charge nurse capacity; training provided if needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to med/tele patients during night shifts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and care quality
• Accurately document patient information in EPIC
• Assist with leadership duties as a charge nurse when assigned

Additional Information:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Flexibility for block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
