Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team near Lackey, VA for the upcoming school year. As an OT, you will play a crucial role in promoting the development and independence of students through therapeutic interventions and support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' functional abilities and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' goals and promote skill development.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' participation and engagement in educational activities.
• Monitor students' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid Virginia state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and team members.
