Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) School Opportunity near Sacramento, CA

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists (OTs) to implement therapeutic interventions and treatment plans for students with diverse needs.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual or small group settings.
- Assess students' functional abilities and develop appropriate goals and objectives.
- Design and implement engaging and effective activities to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual motor skills, and self-help skills.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and evaluations.
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and other team members to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.

Requirements:
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
- Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program or equivalent.
- Experience working with K-12th grade students in a school-based setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, assessments, and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
