Occupational Therapist Contract Role now Available (School OT) - Full Time

Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist seeking an exciting opportunity to work with students in a school setting? We have an opening for a full-time School OT in Phoenix, AZ for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. Join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students!

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' functional strengths, areas of improvement, and specific needs.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans and interventions to address students' motor skills, sensory integration, and functional abilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students' progress and successful participation in educational activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Arizona.
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices in occupational therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
