Job Description:

As an Occupational Therapist with [Vernon Hills School District], you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of our students. You will work collaboratively with our professional staff to promote student success and well-being. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and professional support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
• Stay current with best practices and research in the field of occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license.
• School-based experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
