We are actively seeking Occupational Therapists (OTs) to fill multiple full-time positions within school districts near Renton, WA. If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of students, this is your chance to contribute in a meaningful way.


Position Details:

  • Location: Renton, WA, and nearby cities
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, for the full school year
  • Caseload: Based on your preference (early intervention, elementary, middle, or high school)
  • Pay Range: $40.00–$56.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students to improve their access to education
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans based on student needs
  • Conduct evaluations to identify students' strengths and challenges
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Document therapy sessions and student progress according to district and state guidelines
  • Adapt and modify materials to support students’ academic success

Required Qualifications for School-Based OTs:

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Education:
  2. Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  3. Certification:
  4. Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Washington
  5. ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification is required for school-based positions
  6. Experience:
  7. Experience in pediatrics or school-based settings is preferred but not mandatory
  8. Clearances:
  9. Fingerprint clearance and background checks as required by Washington state law
  10. CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus
  11. Soft Skills:
  12. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  13. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents
