Occupational Therapist Needed for Remainder of 2023 School Year - Bluffton, South Carolina

Location: Bluffton, South Carolina

Duration: April 17 - June 2nd (6 weeks)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Schools Occupational Therapist to join our team for a 6-week period from April 17 to June 2nd in Bluffton, South Carolina. The Schools Occupational Therapist will work with students of all ages and varying disabilities, providing assessments, evaluations, and therapy services in accordance with the Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and other relevant educational plans.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with sensory processing disorders, fine motor delays, and other related disabilities
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the educational needs of students
• Document progress, complete reports, and maintain accurate records
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• South Carolina state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or the ability to obtain licensure
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required

• Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
