Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Soliant is currently hiring for a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our team for the 23/24 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' functional abilities and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to ensure a coordinated approach to student development and progress
• Monitor and document students' progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
