Position: Occupational Therapist

Type: Full-time, Onsite Only, K-12th District

Salary: Starting at $43 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in a K-12th district educational setting in Washington State. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students' fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals to address students' specific needs.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic interventions and activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the integration of occupational therapy goals into the students' educational plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
  • Stay informed about best practices in occupational therapy and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational plans.
  • Provide support and education to teachers and staff on strategies to enhance students' participation in the classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Washington.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Previous experience working with K-12th grade students is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
