Soliant Health is currently seeking four dedicated Occupational Therapists (OTs) to work with a school district in Apple Valley, CA for the 2023-2024 school year. These positions are full-time and on-site, serving a diverse K-12 caseload.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' individual needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' goals and IEPs
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-help skills, and functional abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic success and participation in the classroom
- Monitor and document student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate and timely records
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on goals, objectives, and accommodations for students with disabilities
- Collaborate with other OTs and professionals to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to student care
Qualifications:
- Valid California State license as an Occupational Therapist
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic school environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
