Occupational Therapist (OT) | Illinois

Soliant Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with a school district in Highland Park, IL for the 2023-2024 school year. The position is full-time and on-site, with the caseload to be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Provide direct and indirect OT services to students with various disabilities, as specified in their Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' learning and development
• Monitor and document progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and accommodations for students with disabilities

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois State license as an Occupational Therapist
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
• Strong organizational and time management skills
