Occupational Therapist (OT) Opening Near Greenville, SC | Full School Year

This full-time position offers a unique chance to work with students ranging from preschool through 12th grade, helping to address caseload needs and provide essential support to the district's staff Occupational Therapists. Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students in preschool through 12th grade.
• Collaborate with the school district's Occupational Therapists to alleviate caseload pressures and ensure students receive the necessary services.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student's unique goals.
• Deliver therapy services in both individual and group settings, adapting interventions as required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment plans.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input on students' goals and progress.
• Assist in the development of appropriate interventions and strategies to support students' development and learning.

Qualifications:

• A valid South Carolina license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within a school setting, is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to the unique needs of each student and provide tailored interventions.
• Flexibility to work full-time, totaling 37.5 hours per week, starting ASAP and continuing through May 24th, 2024.
