Contract Agency is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a reputable school district near Napa, California, for the 2023-24 school year. Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' sensory, motor, and functional capabilities.
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans to address students' unique needs and goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the educational team.
• Offer guidance and support to students, families, and staff members on best practices for improving fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
• Stay current with emerging trends and developments in the field of occupational therapy, integrating new techniques and approaches into practice.

Qualifications:

• A valid California state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality occupational therapy services to students.
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, colleagues, and other professionals.
• Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, to meet the educational needs of students.
• Dedication to creating an inclusive and equitable learning environment.
• Availability to commit to the 2023-24 school year in Napa, California.
