Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist to provide maternity leave coverage for a school district in Pasadena, California. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to assess students' fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' individual needs and develop personalized therapy plans.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs, both individually and in group settings.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address students' sensory, motor, and self-help skills.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Collaborate with the IEP team to develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Offer guidance and support to school staff in creating a sensory-friendly and inclusive learning environment.
• Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom modifications as needed.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Active California Occupational Therapist license.
• School-based or pediatric occupational therapy experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and experience working in an educational setting is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A compassionate and patient demeanor when working with students with varying needs.
• Reliable and organized, with the ability to maintain accurate therapy records.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each student.
