Occupational Therapist OT, School Based Maternity Leave

Soliant Health has partnered with a school district near Mundelein, Illinois to bring in an experienced Occupational therapist to provide therapy interventions to a K-12 caseload. This contract position is to cover an upcoming maternity leave.

• Start Date, Approximately 3/20/23 
• 30-40 day leave 
• 4-5 days per week, guaranteed hours  
• Caseload: High School, 40 students, additional details provided in interview with district directors 

Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluations, assessments and diagnosis of physical limitations or impairments.
• Provide appropriate individualized programs of intervention to meet individual students' needs 
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school staff to implement interventions.

Experience:

• Previous experience in schools or pediatric offices preferred.

Education:

• State Required Occupational Therapist License
• Active PEL or ability to obtain may be required 
• Masters in Occupational Therapy
