Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team for a full-time position during the 23/24 school year in Virginia. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide comprehensive therapeutic services to students, helping them overcome physical, sensory, and cognitive challenges. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions to promote students' functional independence, engagement, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to enhance students' motor coordination, sensory integration, self-care skills, and social participation.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement strategies to support students' educational goals and accommodations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' occupational therapy needs.
- Stay updated with current research, best practices, and trends in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Virginia.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development, sensory integration, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to independently manage a caseload and prioritize tasks.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of students and educational settings.
