Soliant Health is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a school district in Ludowici, GA for the 2023-2024 school year. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-help skills, and functional abilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic progress and inclusion in the school environment
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance students' independence and participation in educational activities and daily routines
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of goals, objectives, and accommodations for students with disabilities
  • Collaborate with other professionals and support staff to ensure a coordinated approach to student care

Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia State license as an Occupational Therapist
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of best practices and evidence-based interventions in school-based occupational therapy
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
