Occupational Therapist - OT

Position Overview: Seeking a skilled School Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional therapy services to local students. As an OT, you'll enhance students' independence and participation in academic and daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for fine motor skills, sensory integration, and self-care tasks.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and professionals to align therapy with the curriculum.
• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group sessions.
• Contribute expertise to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.

Qualifications:

• Occupational Therapy degree and Connecticut OT licensure.
• School experience preferred but new graduates welcome.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Passion for enhancing children's functional skills and independence.
