• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, guaranteed hours for the school year
• Caseload: Assignments tailored to your strengths and preferences, serving diverse age groups
• Pay Range: $40.00–$60.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized therapy services to students, enhancing their educational access
• Develop and execute treatment plans aligned with each student’s goals and needs
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to create and implement IEPs
• Conduct assessments to identify barriers to student success and recommend interventions
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports
• Participate in team meetings and trainings as a valued member of the school community

Qualifications for School-Based OTs:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Licensure: Valid California Occupational Therapist license
• Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
• Experience: School-based or pediatric experience is a plus, but not required
• Clearances: Must pass California state and school district background checks
• Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to school environments
